tells a story

Finding your perfect wedding dress should be a joyful experience. That’s why, instead of overwhelming you with choice, we carefully curate and restore gowns as unique and characterful as yourself.

We travel extensively to attend auctions, textile fairs and costume sales and we have links with exclusive and trusted sources. Thought for our open-hearted and open-minded brides, guides every choice we make, from the careful appraisal of each garment to its gentle restoration. Thought and care are constants at Tuesday’s Bride.

Our collection is unique and ever changing, spanning pieces from the 1800s to something more contemporary. Each dress has already lived a life and is ready to be treasured once again. Whether you’re looking to find something truly special and timeless for your day or have an heirloom that you’d like to see loved again, we look forward to hearing from you

A different approach to wedding dresses

Our dresses weren’t made for you, but this is exactly what makes them wonderful! They have danced other dances, been walked down other aisles and been loved by brides before you. Created in different eras, these garments hold a grace and charm unfaded by time. We welcome you to become part of the story.

At Tuesday’s Bride, we have a particular love for bridalwear from the first half of the twentieth century, though our rails may offer heirloom gowns and accessories from the 1800s to the present day. Selected and restored with care our antique, vintage, artisan inspired and ex-costume pieces are ready to be re-discovered and re-loved. Each dress offers itself as a beautiful and sustainable choice.

“Welcome.
You’ve found your place.“

Uniting my love of textiles, treasure-hunting and real-life love stories, I founded Tuesday’s Bride in early 2025.

Far from a conventional bridal boutique, I wanted to create a space and a collection that felt more like a gallery - each dress being an artwork in its own way, yet with an overall experience that felt more like enjoying a coffee with friends.

With an eye for style and detail, I have done all the sifting and thrifting for you, curating a collection that feels both refined and full of choice.

My creative flair extends beyond the collection itself. As ‘artist in residence’ at Tuesday’s Bride, I draw inspiration from the textiles and garments that surround me, as well as from the Sussex landscape and nature. I specialise in fine-art style machine embroidery, bringing a contemporary interpretation to a traditional craft.

Perhaps you share my view that elegance is not always new, and perfection is not always polished. Perhaps you too are drawn to garments threaded with the romance of a love story — welcome. You’ve found your place.
